In the beginning, Riordan wrote books which were mainly related to adults. One day, his son asked him to make a bedtime story to him about the Greek gods and heroes. Riordan taught Greek myths for many years, but this time he was out of stories. He remembered an activity that he gave to his students which was to create their own demigod hero and story, so he created the famous Percy Jackson and his wonderful journey.
