Pepto-Bismol Description
His gum comes in a pink and silver box. Half light, half dark blue orbit box that has various shades of pink. When he pulls out the rectangular piece, the wrapper is white like snow. Printed on the wrapper a light grey logo flows across the wax paper.
As the piece comes out of the box the smell of cheap Pepto-Bismol spills out with it. On the gum is a fine white dust almost like cocaine. The dust fills every crack of his fingerprints. On it, fine lines are etched. The wrapper sounds like paper being balled up on a molecular level. He rolls it in his fingers for a second and stares at those fine cut lines, woodgrain almost. Those fine lines add texture and character to every piece, making each one unique to every other.
It can be molded like a piece of soft rubber. When he puts it in his mouth the saliva fills his mouth like a dam being broken. The first couple chews are hard but then it softens up. The rush of taste is unlike any other. Each chew is a new experience. For every chew of the soft rubbery substance, his white teeth sink in and get molded. Then his sinuses begin to clear and he can breathe without much trouble. It become softer and much more pliable. It can be stretched like Play-Doh. It shrinks into a little ball that fits the imprint of the teeth with every chew. He begins to blow into it and a thin walled bubble begins to form. It´s opaque with a pink hue, but yet anyone could still see through the walls. He continues to blow slowly and gently like a survivalist making fire. Suddenly without warning it pops. It slowly fades down his chin but he uses his teeth to reel it back into his mouth like a fisherman on the open water. He chews a little more his jaw flares out with every chew.
