Pepsi is one of the well-known soft drink brands in the world. As we can see, the main color theme in the commercial is red which is also known as the main brand color of Pepsi and moreover, it is an eye catchy color as well. This commercial is very effective because they have chosen a famous and well-known person – Michael Jackson so many audiences will be impressed by this, especially his fans. There is a little boy who dressed in Michael Jackson’s style, makes up with Michael’s typical hair and shows his talent like many skillful movements in dancing. This commercial was set on a beach and a situation of a boy trying to make up with a strange beautiful girl. He tried to impress her by some skillful movements dancing on the sea such as Break Dance and Hip Hop. But unfortunately, she did not care anything about his performance and she walked away while he felt very disappointed. At the end, suddenly, he took a shirt from Forever 21 on and the girl agreed to be his girlfriend. It can be said that this commercial created the comfortable and happy mood with an unpredictable ending. Besides, the scene from a beach was very suitable because it made a romantic atmosphere. The clothes that the girl wore were fitted the makeup and made she look pretty. The message behind this commercial is “The new product helps to make people look prettier and connects their hearts.” They feel sympathy when they both choosing Forever 21. The man does not need to be a professional dancer or something like that because in the girl’s eyes, just Forever 21 can make him special in a typical style. This brand made people more confident because they will be more beautiful in the other’s eyes.     Did Marlboro implant their image in the consumers mind? Philip Morris launched the Marlboro brand in 1924 as a woman's cigarette in the 1920s advertising for the cigarette was officially based around how ladylike the cigarette was. The filter had a printed red band around it to hide lipstick stains and in its campaign saying it is as mild as May. The Marlboro cigarette brand began in England 1847 and was originally targeted at female smokers. Which was not successful, so in the 1920's Marlboro was retargeted to female smokers in the United States. In this campaign ad it was told that Marlboro was a mild cigarette. These efforts continued into World War II when the brand was eventually taken off the market. In the 1950's Marlboro was again introduced to the market, this time warning people about the negative health aspects of smoking. At that time the vast majority of cigarettes being sold were non-filtered. Marlboro was the first filtered cigarette, so this clearly was an attempt to win over the health crowd. During the 1950's, the company decided to dump the targeting of women and begin promoting Marlboro as a man's cigarette. The first icon of this new change in marketing was the Tattooed Man various images of healthy looking, outdoor type began showing up in ads. The images used in their ads evolved more into those representing particularly masculine types. In the beginning, images of naval officers and ranchers made the advertising scene.
