Peopling of the Earth
The earliest full human species known today lived in East Africa about 2.5 million years ago. Early humans survived by hunting and gathering. With an economy based on hunting and gathering, there is a great deal of space needed for just a small community. Before migrating majorly, they migrated to the Levant, in about 25,000 years ago a global freeze happened and it wiped them out completely. They would then later end up migrating to the Middle East from Africa, then moving on to Europe, Asia, Australia, and then the Americas. They adapted different then us too, instead of pulling out there smart phones and looking up what to do on Google, they would migrate, like when they realized they could plant crops, they moved to more fertile land. When the climate changed at the end of the ice age, realizing a lot of big game was now gone, the women realized they needed plant more seeds to harvest the grain because the animals were being over hunted because of the increase in population.

With the creation of the wheel, they’re transportation became more convenient. The hunter and gatherers ended up limiting their number of children to one because it was too hard to take more than one child on a migration trip. So, when agriculture became more popular, it was better to have more children and. They were expected to work at a young age to support their family and to know how to support their future family. Men and women both had different jobs but they are both equally important. Confronting with another hunting band was very rare and was normally not very violent.

One hundred twenty-thousand B.C.E. homo sapiens sapiens emerge which displaces other human species. In thirty-thousand to twenty five thousand B.C.E. humans first travel to Americas. In fifteen thousand to twelve thousand B.C.E. humans domesticate dogs.

There were few patterns of movements other than expanding north and east. They’re most common cause for migration was for hunting and gathering reasons like diminishing game or non-fertile land.
