People who argue ‘There are some reasons that an attractive person is treated better’ because attractive people know how to express themselves and be more positive than unattractive people. There are support reasons that attractive people could grow up in that way because they did not be hurt or treated badly from other people. There is some truth in it. Tim Blixseth kept explaining to us how most rich people he know were cocky, arrogant, stuck up or flamboyant. Tim was nothing like that; he didn’t want people to judge him accordantly to the other rich people. He strongly hated the fact that most rich people are jerks and looked down toward the middle/lower class. Money does change people a lot. I feel like if you were born with money and everything given to you, than you would be a stuck up person. But if you worked hard for your money than you know where you can from and would be cared hearted toward the lower class. Money is the root of all evil. It gives the wealthy a since of more power, makes them believe they rule us. By thinking this way, we all are going to be in trouble if they can get any more power. I believe that not all wealthy people do not have this type of attitude but most are by the way they were raised. But I believe that if you are raise your children properly and teach them the correct morals of life, then you can be a great person with the wealth.…

Attraction and the formation of relationships in today’s society is an everyday happening for most people and therefor it’s not surprising that numerous amounts of psychological research into interpersonal and social relationships has centred on romantic relationships. Researchers have found a number of likely factors that play a vital role in the formation of relationships, these being physical attractiveness, proximity, attitude similarity, demographic similarity and similarity in personality. Physical attractiveness in the Western World is of great importance and research has shown that being physically attractive is one of the primary determinants of whether or not you develop a relationship with someone. Investigations have shown that physical attractiveness makes people more popular and applies to both platonic and romantic relationships. A study done by Brigham (1971) found that physically attractive individuals are thought of as being generally attractive and being sociable, exciting, interesting, poised and sexually warm. Cunningham (1986) examined the particular features of men and women that make them attractive to the opposite sex and found that in relation to women what men found most attractive were large eyes, small eyes and a small chin, whereas for men, women looked for square jaws, small eyes and thin lips in terms of attraction.…

I disagree with Sidney Katz’s position that your attractiveness determines your success in life. I believe that confidence, determination, and a sense of purpose more than your perceived attractiveness have a greater impact on your success throughout life. Beauty, or attractiveness, is a subjective quality and everyone judges it differently. While there is undeniably a universal standard for beauty that most of us can agree on, think Christie Brinkley or Giselle Bundchen and Brad Pitt or George Clooney, there are some who would disagree that one or the other of those named is not attractive. On the other side of the coin, you have those in the same professions who succeeded that do not conform to that “standard” of beauty, for example Tyler…

Wealthy individuals have more privileges and opportunities than the average person. Most wealthy people think down on the poor or ordinary people. In the short stories “The Ones Who Got Away From Omelas” by LeGuin and Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut both deal with the complications many average people deal with when being judged by people with a higher power. In each story they both deal with these three problems, the struggle of ordinary people to survive, the suffering imposed on some people in order for the majority to do well and the savagery to which ordinary people are reduced in order to keep the society functioning.…

Rich and wealthy are all based on personal opinions. The average person does not desire to be rich, they just want enough money to live on, and maybe a little more for extras. For the average person, extras include vacations, newer cars, and newer phones. Another question to help answer the big question is, Do people need money to be happy in life?. Many people would say yes and argue that people can buy the things that make them happy. The other side might argue that the things that make people happiest cannot be bought. Such as love, family, and good health. If everyone can find what makes them happy in life, then that should help direct them to their American…
