People Depende to Much on Technology
How many times you used your phone or use the computer? What if you did not have any of those things, how would it change your life? Frank Newport emphasized that 59% uses too much internet and 58% are always using their smart phone through the ages of 18 to 29. We are living in a society where technology is fascinating and provoking. There are lots of advantages that technology gives us. And we rely on it to help us in jobs, school works and other efforts. Everyone in days uses technology, it’s like unavoidable. But is this a good thing or a bad thing? Our life has transform and still continues transforming each time a new creation is invented. Even though I love my iPad and iPhone, I think that soon or later depending on technology will end being a bad thing. I see people with a lot of problems with dependence on the technology. Now on days we are living in a time where living without technology is like living without air. The majority of people use their cell phones glued to their ears. The other day I was thinking and seeing how much students use their cell phone the university. According to Ellen Gibson (2011) more than a third part of U.S own a smart phone and two thirds sleep with their phones right next to their beds. We can see that everyone has been obsessed with their electronic devices. Since people have increased their obsession with technology, children are too obsessed with technology, spending too much time on their computers or TV and they do not leave the house. Due to this they don’t go outside to play and to excise like it was in the past. What if children only get more dependent to technology and never go outside to play? There health would not be that great because they will not run outside or do exercise. Lindsay Hutton emphasized that children spent nearly 7 ½ hours using two or more devices. In this day it feels that if technology continues to advance the more people is becoming dependent on it. We are losing our skill to think with all

This is the zombie generation; people spend more time stuck to the screens of their phones and computers rather than spend time outside with friends. This zombie generation is obsessed with life 's unneeded objects. Where are the purpose-driven peers? Where is awareness amongst this blind bunch? Technology as a whole is bringing down the ability for not only students but adults as well to communicate face to face. The “addiction” to technology has become an epidemic. People who overuse technology for hours on end and there’s more than a hand full of people who take their technology too far and simple entertainment and ease starts becoming abused. There are many problems that can arise from the abuse and over use of technology. The mental toll technology has on us can take our brains to new levels of stress, and also it can take a larger toll on our bodies. There is however some opposition to this, the belief that we have a right to use technology. Technology. Perhaps it’s nothing harmful. Every phone, every laptop, every computer, and every car. Every flat screen TV and every video game console. Technology. Perhaps we live it. Perhaps it lives us.…

Many people seem to be obsessed with technology. According to a mother of three teenagers named Susan Maushart, her children “inhabit” media. She said “Did I say they do their schoolwork like that? Correction. They do their life like that.”(Maushart, Winter) This is true for a lot of people out there that use technology. Everything they do has to be done with technology or include technology in some sort of way. Susan knows her children would rather go without food, water or hair products voluntarily instead of electronic media. (Maushart, Winter) Everywhere they go they take technology with them, it’s the last thing they’ll forget to take. Even Susan admits sneaking her iPhone into the toilet. (Maushart, Winter) The obsession with technology has gotten to the point that the last thing they check before going to sleep and firs thing they check when waking up is their cellphone or any other electronic device. Obsession with technology has been creating dependency issues with the ones who most use it. Any obsession is not good, and once that can damage our whole society, known as technology is even…
