Nowadays, using computers in companies and other establishments in transacting with their clients is a big factor. Some of the companies or stores are still using the manual process in running business. By using the manual way, it consumes more time and energy and susceptible to errors in finishing work. So, companies now are making system to be computerized because in this way it can minimize time and efforts consumed by using manual system. One way to save time and effort is to start using Sales and Inventory System. In Penshoppe’s Sales and Inventory System, a sale refers to the exchange of product or services for an amount of money or its equivalent while making Inventory in a business is a total amount of goods and the act of counting them. Inventory is merchandise in-stock and on hand, also known as stock. Inventory is basically the total amount of goods and materials held in stock by a factory, store and other business. In its simplest sense it can be done manually by counting at the end of each day. In this way it is possible to keep a record of the goods coming in to the business and goods being sod. A company owner must know the precise number of items in their storage areas in order to place and control losses. Computerizing both Sales and Inventory System will make and easier and faster transaction with the customers as well as monitoring the stocks of the product.
1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The purpose of this project is to check and track inventory sales, orders and deliveries. The researchers aim to help in improving the Penshoppe’s Inventory system by fitting solutions to the problems below and these are: To ensure this quality of service, the companies which works on this business should reach to their customers and give a quality service. And this include easy ticket reservation system. In the manual system, the daily reservation list for all flights is generated and sent.
The general aim of the study is to develop a system that will maximize the resorts efficiency in the business transaction by developing a computerized sales and inventory system that will provide them secure and free from error computations.
The normal process which was followed until recently was to manually fill the data and then process the data which used to cause a lot of inconvenience to both the administrator and the customer as well. Now, we would like to use databases to facilitate this process of smooth reservation of airline tickets with minimal work on the part of both the customer and the administrators involved. N 1.4 SCOPE & LIMITATION Scope of the Project
This project designs and implements air ticketing reservation system. Supported by a well-designed database, all available air flight information is integrated together and can be accessed easily through a single point. A friendly user interface is provided so that various combinations of search criteria can be fetched from user and generates corresponding database search statements. The air ticket reservation system provided both customer and administration interfaces with the latter used for administration purposes. If time permits, the reservation system will support frequent user registration and personal information management.
Limitation of the Project
This project is limited in the following boundary
1.) It takes enormous amount of time for recording transactions. 2.) Provide flight information for the passengers
3.) It takes enormous amount...
