The Walk of Faith
In life, we all start off as a toddler that doesn’t have a clue about what is going on around our environment. As Time progresses and we begin to grow past the toddler stage into a young adult. We live and learn new things day by day about the world we live in and we either adapt or avoid whatever that may be. There become a time when you grow up to a young man or woman and you have to make your decisions. The experiences and the mind itself is the main decision maker as they grow into this stage of life. That is just how things work. As growing to respect people as a young man we should respect our elders, help people, and avoid negativity in life. The movie The Blind Side conveys a lot about the world we live in and life situations teens go through on a daily basis. This movie is based on a true story. The main character Michael Oher. He conveys to the audience the challenges he went through and possibly what others at his age may be going through. His struggles can either break you or strengthen you. Later in life, through hard times and struggles with pain, bullying, and hurt you will become stronger mentally and physically. Even though he was introduced to the game of football, he has a lot of his past with family off the field. In the Kelly article, it says that, “African American athletes, men in particular, struggle with social integration, feelings of isolation, and discrimination” (pg). Many athletes in the professional league has gone through the same similar situations and connect spiritually and emotionally to the Michael Oher past. Having a family of family member to talk to while going through hard times is great in many ways. Having a profound relationship with the lord is even better because the devil is eager to take everything away in a finger snap. Expressing what you’re going through makes things easier and it seems to have the weight of an evil spirit released off of
