PROJECT SUMMARY This proposal is about the Computerized Reservation System of Pechelitos Drive Inn Hotel and Resort, located at Mariners Village, Sta. Lucia Magarao Camarines Sur. The resort offers facilities reservation, services and other activities. They have existing reservation but it is manual so I decided to make a proposal for computerized reservation system that will help the management to make their work easier. Resort Reservation System focuses on improving the existing reservation of Pechelitos Drive Inn Hotel and Resort, it may help customers for making their reservation easier, fast and complete. The system also is reliable in terms of all the information.

1. PECHELITOS DRIVE INN HOTEL AND RESORT RESERVATION SYSTEM

PROJECT BACKGROUND A resort is a place where families intend to spend their holidays or weekends for relaxation or recreation. Usually resorts are commercial establishments like hotels which are manage by single company. Resorts are usually located away from the hustle bustle of cities and towns. Resorts provide all the facilities like entertainment, sports and other more at one place. In case of urban surroundings, resorts are provided with spacious areas with parks, swimming pools, gardens and play areas for children and adults. Philippine is blessed with so many beautiful beaches and resort. Now a day a lot of resorts are now using computerized reservation system, because owners and management of the resort helps them to decrease the work load. Just like the long process of reserving a guest. It will also help the management in storing information, searching and retrieving data and easier computation of payment, and information of every guest is secured.

The system that the researchers will develop is more advance and reliable to use for their works. It is a module that eases the process of accessioning of rooms by the costumer who want to reserve a room in the Hotel. Automatic generation of reserving and computing the payments of staying and occupied the rooms, and availability of the rooms. It is a module that ensures policies in terms of reserving and computing the payments of rooms to be reported in the manager and explaining in the costumer if there is a question. The system includes a module for buck-up and recovery in reservation and computing the payments. In accordance with this, it is proposed that a reservation system of Del Carmen Hotel will be developing to meet the needs of the reservation area.…
