For my Unit 10 : Discussion posting, I have chosen to use the country "Mexico". A business group from this country has offered to purchase a franchise of Sandwich Blitz. Although both Dalman and Lei are overly excited about this idea, they must both learn about "Mexico's" cultural norms, business and meeting practices, and its values. As I understand that a meeting has been arranged for Dalman, Lei, and three representatives from the business group, to discuss the idea of "Mexico" purchasing a franchise of Sandwich Blitz. With this being a very important meeting, and it involving networking with individuals who will influence the outcome of this transit to expand the business of Sandwich Blitz, Dalman and Lei should both begin reading, reviewing, and learning…

In Chapter 3, Lipton explains his ideas the membrane, the “magical membrane” as he calls it, and how it controls the life of cells. He described membranes as being an intelligible life, comparing it to a sandwich made up of bread, a large hunk of butter, and both seedless and seeded olives, something you don’t find on the Subway menu. He shares about the proteins of the membranes, how they connect to the “mem-brain”, how the membranes react to their environment, and how people receiving diseases has less to do with our cells and more to do with how we run our lives.…

In The Butter Battle Book, Seuss puts his satirical talents on full display. He transforms the cause of the senseless war into a trivial conflict over toast, putting a more comical twist on things. The battle is between two different races or cultures, known as the Yooks and the Zooks, who do not realize that they happen to be more alike than different, because they live on opposite sides of a long wall. The Yooks like to eat their bread with the butter-side up, while the Zooks like to eat their bread with the butter-side down. Both sides compete against each other to make bigger and better weapons until both sides invent a destructive bomb, known as the "Bitsy Big- Boy Boomeroo,” and if either side uses it, it will kill both sides. Much like The Lorax, there is no happy ending or resolution in this book. As the story comes to an end, the generals on both sides of the wall are poised to drop their bombs. It is hard for even some of the younger readers to miss Seuss's main point here.…
