Sullivan, Patrick, An Open Letter to Ninth Graders. From Academe [Bulletin of the American Association of University Professors], 2009.
In this letter, the author, Patrick Sullivan who is an educated individual, lists several tips and structures them as a guideline to prepare ninth grader students for college. Sullivan understands the flaws of high school, so he wants to fix that by sending this letter. The letter’s intention is to encourage students early on to start college on the right foot.
