My grandma is my hero because of what she endured at the age of 4. Not every person goes through what she experienced, which is every mother’s nightmare. Little did they know that the baby they were holding would go through a tragic event that almost take her life. Nearly 4 years later it was there in Sacramento, California where Cynthia Jacobson would earn her title as a hero.
It all started on September 13th when Patricia and Graham Jacobson decided to go out for that evening. Before going out the couple dropped their 4-year-old daughter Cynthia off at a babysitter’s house. Once she was settled the couple left not knowing the horrors to come later that night.

Three people that inspire me or made me want to make a difference in the world are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. , and Rosa Parks. They are my heros because they done things that they believe in and that they thought were fair because they wanted to make sure everyone had rights to do whatever they want whenever they wanted to do it. I believe that everyone has a voice in the world and if u believe in something u should do it no matter what the risks are.…

There are many definitions of the word ‘hero’ but Dictionary.com defines a hero as a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities, a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal, the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc. While growing up, I can remember many instances where we were asked to write about and describe who we felt our ‘hero’ was. The common and cliche answer amongst many people is “my mom.” Under the dictionary definition I don’t know that all of my classmates moms, including my own, are heroes.…

A hero is willing to help a person at anytime. A hero can kill their enemy with kindness. For an example I believe Jackie Robinson is an incredible, life changing hero. He had been the first African American to play in the Major League Baseball. He had played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. They played him and they had ended racial segregation.…
