Patient Care Assistant Case Study
Some of the RNs and patient care assistants are short staffed, so they don't very care about the patients, and satisfaction which patients give is too low.
Performance review procedures.
They had not kept complete and accurate records of the staffs’ annual performance reviews. So, they all receive the same increase regardless of their performance, and it’s unfair to the person who works hard. It lacks their motivation. Question 2 answer: What could Barbara do to improve the situation? Be specific in the action steps you recommend and explain what it will take for her to be successful.
I have three recommendations for her.
Create a health culture in the team.
The team meeting seems very helpful, so they could have a team meeting every month,
