1. What are the differences between being a biological parent, an adoptive parent, and a foster parent? Foster care is intended to be for a short term until the biological parents regain custody or a family member adopts. An adoptive parent is a permanent thing in which they adopt from foster parents or parents in need of help. Biological parents are the mother or father which the child was born.
2. What financial needs are parents obligated to provide and which are optional? Parents are obligated to provide food, water, shelter, clothes, education, and medical expenses. Things that could be optional include Christmas presents and any out of pocket money for anything unneeded.
3. What other needs might a child have that a parent is expected to provide? Other need a parent is expected to provide is protections, love, and care.
4. What are the qualities of a nurturing parent? Qualities of a nurturing parent include discipline, education, and preparedness. Also love and living in a safe environment.

1. What qualities make a person a good parent? A bad parent? Qualities that make up a good parent include being there for your child and making the best out of everything. A bad parent would so no love or protection to their child.
2. Which parental responsibilities do you think would be the most challenging? Why? Parental responsibilities most challenging to me is probably being patient. As babies grow, their need grow also. Once you have a child you will always have that child.
3. Which parental responsibilities do you think would be the most interesting to you? Why? Nurturing my child would be most interest to me because they develop what they like and don’t like to do.
4. What are some things that people can do to prepare for parenthood? In order to prepare for parenthood you could read book/articles and or talk to others. Parenting is mostly a learn as you go process but overtime everything gets easier.
