Palm Oil Controversy

I was on the hunt for palm shortening and this fit the bill.
Palm oil right now is a very controversial product, so finding this product is difficult. Finding palm oil that is organic, fair trade, without preservatives and without controversy is even more difficult. Being in Canada also does not help. So of course I was very happy to find this product.

I bought this product to use in a vegan buttercream recipe, the recipe turned out great and met all of my expectations, it imparts little flavor and creates a very good and creamy product. The only true issue I had with this product is (and perhaps my own fault) that it is in fact yellow instead of white.
