Ventilation The amount of ventilation there is will influence communication and will affect the amount of concentration in the environment. People need air and space to breath in order to do things to the best of their ability. For example, if the room is stuffy then they will not like the environment so the people will not enjoy all that they do. Having a good ventilation will mean that more and more people will concentrate for the better as well as enjoying it too. Strategies available to overcome those which are a barrier to effective communication and interpersonal interactions: For most buildings they should have air conditioning for the warm spells. All general practices, schools and hospitals should have ventilation to make the room and building seem less humid, which helps especially in health and social care settings as it could make the people feel calmer as there is less stuffy air to breathe in.
Seating Orientation This may influence communication as the way the people are sitting effects how much they will concentrate on the situation. If they are all sitting in a circle where they are facing everybody they will feel more involved in the discussion. Some people work better and learn better with their friends.
