What are the effects of the over-use of computer on people’s health

In modern society , the computer has become an indispensable tool in people’s lives and work , but it also increasingly becoming a ‘double-edged sword’.When it bring people’s live and work quickly while also quietly endanger people’s health. According to the survey, those who over-use the computer feel tired eyes accounted for 83%,low back pain accounted for 63.9%, loss of appetite and headaches accounted for 56.1% and 54.4%, also will appear autonomic nervous system disorders, depression.

Over-use of computer , if not be careful , the most likely to get suffer is our eyes . The computer users operate the computer to see the file , enter text , looked up the screen and other repetitive movements , the daily average of the eye is to move about 20000 – 30000 times ,these actions have to rely on the control of eye ciliary muscle if fatigue or rest not enough , this may cause permanent damage to eyesight .Ciliary muscle play a role in the regulation of focal length , when we look near , the ciliary muscle will shrink . If we continue to see near object for long time , it will cause the ciliary muscle spasm.

Beside that , if we long-term deal with the computer keyboard , typing on the keyboard repeat daily or move with the mouse , the wrist joint intensive , repeated and excessive active , gradually it will formed a wrist injury , easy to get wrist syndrome , commonly known as “mouse hand” . It will appear forefinger or middle finger pain , numbness and thumb muscles powerness , develop nerve damage may result .

In addition , if sedentary in front of the computer with incorrect posture , but also prone to neck and back pain and back pain , computer down syndrome , dizziness psychosis compter, but the computer more harm to humans lies in its potential hazards , such as multiple personality disorder , psycgopathic higher cognitive functions with brain disorders ,physiological and

    over using digital devices can lead to a number of problems such as eye strain. this can occur when you look at a device for to long, this can also occur when the screen is too bright or too close to you. this can be solved by making sure the screen is not to bright but so you can see it, and have it a sutible distance away from you when using it, experts suggest around 15-20cm away. you can also make sure you avoid this is going for regular eye check and if you do need glasses you wear them when using the device for long amounts of time. if you do have to use it for a long periods of time take regular breaks and look around the room.
