Outsiders: Who Is Dally A Hero?

Some people say greasers could never be heroes. Some people think they can. My definition of a hero is someone who has saved, helped or done something that has helped anything. Dally is a hero because he saved ponyboy. He saved ponyboy by putting the flames out on his jacket. He may not have cared for the children. All that matters is that he helped ponyboy. In the book on page 79, Dally says"Forget those blasted kids!".
