With a recorded history stretching back to 37 BC(Cumings, 2005), The Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK), or north Korea as it is known to us, is a country of many dubious distinctions, habitually invaded and in conflict throughout its history by outside powers from, Russia, China, Japan and the USA, the DPRK, as it is now known, has a long history of distrust of outsiders and is one of the most isolated countries known.
