Coal is dirty, oil and natural gas are limited, nuclear energy is dangerous, and then there is solar energy: clean, abundant and safe. It is already used around the Earth to give energy to those huge satellites into orbit but also in the surface of the Earth to provide electricity to many houses or other structures in need of energy. Indeed solar energy may be the most important renewable source of energy for the moment. However installations allowing using the solar energy such as solar panels are still very expensive and space consuming. Moreover to benefit from this source of energy we need some conditions such as a location with a sunny weather. But in Southern Nevada, most of the time there is a sunny weather which makes this region the perfect location for solar energy. Also studies have shown that solar energy, with minor damages to the environment, has a higher output and economically it can be more advantageous than other renewable source of energy in this region. So solar energy seems to be a good solution for Southern Nevada and more investment on solar energy in this region should be a good idea.

Solar energy storage can help to make technologic progresses (refutation)
III. Economic benefits of Solar energy in southern Nevada * A. Clarck county the most populous county in Nevada (counter argument) 1. Big population needs huge amount of energy 2. The need of more space (cannot catch entirely the solar energy yet) 3. Expensive installation
