GENERAL PURPOSE: To inform
SPECIFIC PURPOSE : To introduce my audience about music.
THESIS / CENTRAL IDEA: The more detail about music and when was the music began .

INTRODUCTION 1- ( Attention Getter ) Play the various music to let people think what will the speaker inform.

2- ( Relevancy Statement ) Music, is something that we hear everyday. No matter where we are, music will always be played either on the radio or by humming a tune.

3- ( Relevancy Statement ) Did you know how old the ‘Music’ is? Did you know when music started?
What do you know about music? How many genre in music that you know?

4- ( Reveal Topic ) Today we will talk about music. More detail about music, history of music, the element in music and the various of genre.

5- ( Preview ) A slide show about music and a several video or song that related to expose more about music.

1 - Music started ... (a) music started as early as the Paleolithic era. (b) it’s about 200 000 years old. (c) but still people enjoy listening to this ‘old’ art.

2- History of music ... (a) main medium . (b) originated from a Greek word ‘mousike’, which means art of the Muses. (c) The Muses are the goddesses of Greek who loves art and literature.

3- The main element in music ... (a) pitch, rhythm and dynamics. (b) pitch : combination of melody and harmony. (c) rhythm : beat of the music. (d) dynamics : the volume. (e) song starts soft then it gradually starts to get loud.

4- Various type of genre in Music... (a) A wide range . example, from acapella to fussion jazz. (b) new genre (revolution pop) was created by Usher.
