Outline for Informative Speech Title: Why Eblen Charities?
I. Introduction: let me begin with telling what the true definition of a charity according to Dictionary.com , charity is the generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless.
a. Attention getter:Did you know that all the charities in america combined in 2014 raised over 358 billion dollars accorreding to charityNavigator.org. b. Credibility: The reason why i'm interrested in helping the local community is because i've always wanted to help the people that truly need help. By indepth research, seeing examples in the school system, and a brief interview with susan a commuity volunteer on the adivisory board, I believe i am creditable enough to give this speech. c. Audience Relation: Now let me ask you my audience a question: Have you ever felt like you wanted to help out in the community, but did not know where to begin? If you answer is yes than great , I to have found myself in your same position before. If your answer is no than lesson up because im hoping after this speech that you will see the impact on how one local charity group has help our commiunty so much. d. Purpose Statement: The main reason why I'm giving this presantation today is to give you my audience more information on the local charity group the Eblen Foundation. e. Central Idea: The main focus of this speech is going to be on how the Eblen Foundation began, how they benefit are communities, and how we can help them out.
