Out Youth Core Values In The LGBT Community
For this discussion, I will focus on Kali Campbell. Kali is a teen that identifies as a bisexual. Her family does not support her sexual preference, in fact, they view her preference as a phase. Kali has dropped out of school and has a history of using drugs. An agency, I would refer Kai is out youth.
Out Youth mission is to promote physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being to teens within the LGBT community and minority youth, so they can have an open and safe environment (out youth, 2017). Also, Out youth core values are sanctuary, empowerment, justice, diversity, community, and integrity (out youth, 2017).
Out youth programs include a drop-in center, where youth can obtain service and a safe place for them to socialize
