Othello Essay
For young and old alike, a trip to the beach means relaxation, adventure, and a temporary escape from the worries and responsibilities of ordinary life. Whether swimming or surfing, tossing a volleyball or just snoozing in the sand, a visit to the beach means fun. The only equipment you need is a twelve-inch deep pail, a small plastic shovel, and plenty of moist sand.

Making a sandcastle is a favorite project of beach-goers of all ages. Begin by digging up a large amount of sand (enough to fill at least six pails) and arranging it in a pile. Then, scoop the sand into your pail, patting it down and leveling it off at the rim as you do. You can now construct the towers of your castle by placing one pailful of sand after another face down on the area of the beach that you have staked out for yourself. Make four towers, placing each mound twelve inches apart in a square. This done, you are ready to build the walls that connect the towers.
Scoop up the sand along the perimeter of the fortress and arrange a wall six inches high and twelve inches long between each pair of towers in the square. By scooping up the sand in this fashion, you will not only create the walls of the castle, but you will also be digging out the moat that surrounds it. Now, with a steady hand, cut a one-inch square block out of every other inch along the circumference of each tower. Your spatula will come in handy here. Of course, before doing this, you should use the spatula to smooth off the tops and sides of the walls and towers. You have now completed your very own sixteenth-century sandcastle. Though it may not last for centuries or even until the end of the afternoon, you can still take pride in your handicraft. Do make sure, however, that you have chosen a fairly isolated spot in which to work; otherwise, your masterpiece may be trampled by beach bums and children. Also, make a note on the high tides so that you have enough time to

We enjoyed doing family activities, as well as walking around the pavilion and taking part in the carnival activities.…

A desire for revenge can overcome a person and have great detrimental effects. This is especially true in the play Othello by William Shakespeare. The play takes place in a time of war between Italy and Turkey. The play begins in Venice, Italy but then shifts to the island of Cyprus for the remainder of the play. In the play, the main antagonist Iago was not chosen for a position of lieutenancy by his general, Othello. Othello had chosen a man named Cassio over Iago. Iago, being very envious of Othello and Cassio, plots a plan for revenge.…

The beach is a place where fun and games are all about and also a popular location to hang out among friends, right? Well, this is where the "Not a beach person" steps in. The moment he arrives at the beach, he picks his stand by stating: "I'm just not a beach person". Dressed in casual or everyday wear, he picks the best spot in the mat and sits there. When his friends decide to go swimming or play some beach sports, he just sits at his spot and calmly declines their offer. While his friends are having fun, he stares at the sky and munches on the snacks accompanied with a can drink. Thinking of going home while staring at the sky, he hesitates as he does not want to disappoint his friends or spoil the mood. At the end of the day, he just keeps complaining and resolve to never go to the beach again. His friends are planning to celebrate his birthday, in the beach next week.…

During the day I swim; I feel the warmth of the Gulf of Mexico surrounding me, and I just lay in the ocean, letting its depth take me over and relax my body like nothing else could. The water reaches eighty, especially in June, and swimming in the ocean is more satisfying than taking a bath. There is something about the ocean, or maybe just this ocean, that relaxes my body; it allows me to feel completely comfortable and without stress. So many summertime memories rush to my mind while recalling this beach; there are those long days spent at the beach, with packed lunches, coats of sunscreen, and kids building sand castles. There are palapas that line the back of the beach; brown straw-like huts that serve as an umbrella for people planning on spending a long day at the beach, and there are always old people with their stuff propped under the palapa, but their bodies baking in the hot sun; their leather skin is so dark from countless days at their beach.…
