Introduction
Suyathi technologies is leading software company in cochin Infopark with active paticipation in software development and marketing the products developed by the company. I underwent an organizational study at suyathi technologies to acquaint myself with the business environment for a period of 3 days. This study was conducted to understand the structure, function and processes of various departments and their interdependence. During the course of study I was able to successfully interact with the employees ofthe organization and they were happy to give me all possible information regarding the company.
Objective of the study
a. To understand the organizational framework & it’s functioning.
b. To gain knowledge about different departments of the organization and the functions. c. To study about the procedures of purchase and sales.
d. To study the interdependence of different departments.
Area of study
The study was gone through different departments in the company. The departmnets are finance, marketing,HR and development team.
Limitations of the study
Time was a major limiting factor.
Lack of co-operation from certain departments due to their work load.

The company started its functioning during 1990s with almost 30 to 40 employees and now almost 600 employess are working in suyathi technologies in various departments. And more than 50 clients are in touch with the company which includes 14 international clients. The capabilities of the company include Software development, marketing the products developed by the company.
Some of the major projects delivered by suyathi technologies are:
1. The “MARS” which include a software in HR department for KOM oman.
2. The back up software for Lulu hyper market.
3. Finance updating software for ACS group,
