This week we are discussing what the current goals of our individual organizations are, and what our organizations focus is and how training can help the organization reach those goals. This paper will also look at how training needs relate to the focus and overarching goals, and how they can affect the organization in many different ways and what type of training needs there is. The organization that I work for is a very new company formed in 2010, this is the year that we have focused on training and what the goals of the entire organization is, the first few years the company was just trying to stay above water.
Organization’s Current Focus and Overarching Goals
The overall focus of my organization is to the future considering that we made it through the first two years, and the future is to get more of the market share not by lowering pricing but to show better customer service and improve are ordering processes. My organization is focusing on educating, developing, to be able to grow the company in all aspects of business, but most of all is to enhance the customer experience and how we order product and what should be kept in stock at all times which will help us grow and evolve. When looking at our overarching goals we as an organization understand that they can give us a broader vision for the entire organization to grow. As an organization our overarching goals can be achievable within the next five years which will help us move our organization in the right directions.
One of our overarching goals is for our operations and communication so our organization can run smother and more efficient, and with a more professional attitude towards each other and clients. My organization will operate with more visibility and have better teamwork among employees through better dialog, which can cut back on mistakes and issues that may arise.
