Organizational Climate Questionnaire
Organizational Climate Questionnaire

The organization I work for is enlightened as far as the interpretation for the questionnaire goes. My organization recognizes and rewards the efforts and performances of their employees’ positively. Our reward system has been worked on thoroughly and the end result shows the hard work put into it. My organization is well organized and has clearly defined responsibility and goal. We have high performance standards and there is the utmost support within the organization. Also leadership is provided on your expertise. We have meetings monthly and the information during this communication is accurate and available. We have a Cost Savings Initiative program where the organization allows the employees to submit new ideas for the company to take into consideration in order to save money. I would say that we are innovative and open to new ideas. Teamwork is valued where I work also participation in decision making is very high. The five steps my organization could take to become better and move up on the scale is to first maybe become better at communication. There is already good communication within the organization but there is always room for improvement. There should be better communication on letting the workers know when they will work overtime. The next step would be showing more support to all employees and not just some at times. The third step would be having more people take leadership. The next step would be more controls being used to provide guidance and solve problems. And the last step would be to come up with better ways to have the participation of all the employees together. I believe this kind of change could happen because it has before. Over the past year my organization has become better by a percentage that is off the charts, so I know that this kind of change can happen again to become even better.

After reviewing the results of the survey given to the employees, it became apparent that the degree in which the questions were answered did not yield a clear enough understanding to why so many employees were dissatisfied and left the company. The questions were administered using a survey and handed out along with pay statements to everyone within the study criteria. The survey used was developed to provide data regarding the overall work environment and its affect on the level of satisfaction. The answers were to be measured from employee responses. Unfortunately, the amount of participation needed was not obtained and the survey did not produce useful findings. Some of the information needed was not asked in the survey questions, errors were made when keying the information into the spreadsheet, and the response rate was astonishingly low at 17.3 percent.…
