Introduction:-
Electronic Commerce known as e-commerce is an industry where buying and selling or any other transaction takes place online. It involves various technologies like mobile commerce, electronic fund transfer, Internet banking, inventory management system, online transaction processing. The features of e-commerce includes:-
a)Buying and selling on various websites.
b)Gathering and use of demographic data through web contacts and social media.
c)Security of business transactions.
d)Email and fax,and their use as media to reach prospective customers.
e)electronic data Interchange, the business to business exchange of data.
With this we introduce you to the company which has been growing in the field of e-commerce,Flipkart.
About the Organization:-

It is an Indian e-commerce company headquarter at Banglore,Karnataka.It has been founded by Sachin and bonny Bansal in 2007. Flipkart is an Indian e-commerce company which has been headquarter at banglore,Karnataka.This has been founded by Sachin Bansal and Binny Banasal. It belongs to the industry of online retailing.
Initially,Flipkart focused on the online sales but later it expanded to electronics goods and a vide variety of other products.
It employs 4500 people.It offers multiple payments like credit card,debit card,net banking,e-gift voucher,cash on delivery and card swipe on delivery.
Evolution of Logo:- History of the organization:-
Founded by the graduates of Indian Institute of technology, Delhi. They worked for Amazon.com before quitting and founding their own company. The first book the company sold was John Woods’ Leaving Microsoft to Change the World.It is ranked among the top 20 Indian website and is one of the India’s largest online bookseller.It also expanded its business in A.C,air coolers,stationery supplies and life style products.Its revenue is 500 crore (U$77 million).
