In this analysis, the report begins off with a brief background of Toyota Motor Corporation. The report also consists of sustainability explanations on the critical events which sustain Toyota as No.1 car manufacturer and explain team effectiveness. Roles of managers in sustaining Toyota’s interest and goals will be elaborated based on the foundations of teambuilding.

In the second part of the report, the concepts of Toyota's management system (The Toyota Way) will highlight the issues on team performance and cohesiveness. This will lead to the emphasis of the “BA” concept which surfaces the types of workplace teams.

In the third part of the report, a list of 5 current or occurred events of critical issues will be highlighted with appropriate recommendations in conjucture to the management systems of Toyota. The area in Trust, Diversity, Team Leadship, Technologies and Accountability will cover the future challenges for a work team.

Lastly, the report will wrap up with a conclusion to the whole analysis of teamwork and teambuilding for a sustainable organisation. 2.0 Brief Introduction on Company's Background

The company “Toyota” was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 and through years of revolution, and today, it is know as the Toyota Motor Corporation. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) is a Japan-based multinational automaker. The company hit the benchmark of achieving the 11th biggest company in the world by revenue. The company mainly engaged in the automobile and financial businesses. In 2009, it is the biggest carmaker (more than 7.5 million cars). The company claimed that it had manufactured its 200 millionth in the report of July 2012. The main markets for TMC are Japan and North America, recently see a strong growth in Asian and South American markets. TMC manufactured cars from commercial to luxury usage and the purpose was to cater to different levels of people. The brands includes Toyota, Lexus and Scion. 3.0 Sustainability in Toyota
