Consequently, if you truly want what is best for this community, a leader who will guide us to prosperity, then you will surely vote for the mitochondria. “The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell” is a universal term used to describe the power of this organelle, but the mitochondria is much more than this. The mitochondria provides the necessary energy to perform any task within the cell. Its ATP is irrevocably required in every facet of cellular productivity and without it no cell would be able to function. I refuse to stand up here and tell you that no other organelle is important. Every organelle is a vital part of this community that contributes to the efficacy of this cell; however, when determining a leader it is necessary to pick someone who can acquire a role of guidance in troublesome times.
Due to the fact that the cell is a complex system, it requires the abilities of dozens of different organelles to function properly; the mitochondria is simply the basis of all functions. The mitochondria is the metaphorical foundation which is built upon by the responsibilities of the other organelles. For example, the ribosomes directly use the mitochondrial ATP to synthesize proteins that are used to repair damage or catalyze chemical processes within the cell.
