Topic: Organ donation
Specific Purpose: To motivate my audience to sign up for organ donation
Thesis Statement: Signing up for organ donating will save more lives

INTRODUCTION

Attention Material: Organ transplantation is a miraculous procedure that can save lives and possibly have a new appreciation on it. But the overall of those that need them outweigh the people that have signed up for donning their organs. They people that need those organs to survive. So how would you feel if you saved a life? Now how about 8 lives with your organs, and even more with tissue? This can all be possible if you sign up for Donation.

Thesis Statement: Signing up for organ donning may save more lives

Preview: Today I will talk about why people should sign up more to organ donation. How many people die each year and die every day and how many lives you can save by signing.

BODY

I. The need:

Organ donation is probably the best you can do to save another person’s life other people’s organs they usually go for dead when donating of course there are also living donors in some cases also.

A. The need for Organ donation is crucial for people that are in the verge of death. If by any chance you might be a match to someone who needs it or may need it in the future it should be reason enough to at least give it a try.
A.1. The HRSA (Health Resources Service Administration says There are 120,756 now on the waiting list as of 11/8/13 and is increasing every day. not only that but thousands die each year because the organ they needed didn’t get there in time.
A.2. By you signing up for organ donation you can save up to 8 lives with: heart, two lungs, two kidneys a pancreas an intestine and a liver which you can split in two and save nine. As for Tissue donation you may save up 50 people’s lives with just donating bone, cornea, skin,
