Compatibility is a feeling you share with another person. You and your significant other should meet the qualities the other wants, share the same values, beliefs, dislikes, likes, etc. Robert Epstein, a psychologist, claims that: “People are sometimes attracted to like personalities and sometimes to different ones.” With that being said, compatibility helps love but isn't necessarily needed. The phrase “opposites attract” is a widespread belief held by young singles searching to find their perfect match. In the movies, the good girl always falls for the bad boy.
