KFC began with Colonel Harland Sanders. Today, KFC Malaysia continues to serve finger lickin' good, succulent pieces of chicken. The flavourful blends of 11 herbs and spices give KFC's delicious aroma. KFC prides itself as a fast-food restaurant that give customers great tasting chicken with a selection of home-styled side dishes and desserts to make a wholesome, complete and satisfying meal. In 2006, the successful first steps were taken to rebrand our Rasa Ayamas outlets as RasaMas, and to reposition the outlets as dine-in restaurants. The Group owns approximately 27 Kedai Ayamas and 4 Ayamas Depots, making us the nation's first branded chicken and chicken-based retail chain. After a successful restructuring exercise, KFCH has emerged as a strong player in the Malaysian corporate world with a high reputation for excellent products, efficient friendly service. 2. Ayamas Exploring Opportunities In Middle East
Ayamas Food Corporation Sdn. Bhd. is looking at the possibility of expanding its product range as well as establishes a presence in the Middle East market. Its sales and export manager Chan Swee Kheng said that being a halal product manufacturer, the company felt that its products have an international appeal. Ayamas is currently exporting its products to Brunei, Singapore and Hong Kong. The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) has brought in nearly 50 Malaysian companies supplying various food products and beverages to Gulfood 2008.
