With The ‘Cloud’ the World Will Be Our Classroom

Education in general is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, values, believing’s and habits of people are being transferred from one generation to the next through stories, discussions, teaching, training, and researching. But with time education changes, it is developing through technology.
In my opinion the future education will be all about the cloud (Wi-Fi), it will especially develop in 3 factors of education.

Even nowadays most schools are using the cloud very often. Teachers are using the cloud to set, collect and grade their students homework online. Students have direct and quick access to their grades, comments and work via any device with cloud access.
Now, this system is commonly used in higher education, you can find everything what has to do with your education online. I believe that in the future this way of the usage of cloud will expand and will be used through every step of education from primary school to higher education.

Besides the development of the usage of the cloud as collecting student’s homework, grading and commenting their work, E-learning has been developing too. It began with online courses, but now you can start and finish a whole higher education online which you get a degree for and not just a certificate like the online courses.
I really think that E-learning has changed and will keep change teaching and learning. Students take their own time to access knowledge anytime and anywhere as their own choice. They don’t have to wait for a specific time of day for their class. They will choose themselves of what they want to learn, how they want to learn and when they want to learn.
Students will learn independently and in their own way, because there is a huge amount of resources online that students can find and use themselves, without any help of the teacher. This of course means that also the role of the teacher will change.

The role of teachers in education will develop too. I think that in the future the role as a teacher will be more like individual teaching. Students who have a hard time to understand a subject or need that extra explanation and need to catch up with the subject that has been given in the class will be helped and supported individually by the teachers. Instead of leading the class they will be the backup for those students.
This support doesn’t even have to be in a classroom, it could also be through the cloud online. The possibilities and ways of helping student’s individually in class and through any device with cloud access are endless.

The development of technology; the cloud will change every part of our lives, like our children’s and even our own education. Every aspect of education will need to develop with technology itself. Like the usage of the cloud in schools, the importance of E-learning for young and old and with that the changes of the teachers role, their careers. Cloud will create unimaginable changes and possibilities for the education sector. It is the future and the inevitability of this sector.

However, the cost and time to develop the information, software, and resources is too high for us. Facing the high cost of providing computing infrastructure and software by traditional independent software vendors, I have examined the possibility of deploying a private cloud computing system in our school to help cut down our technology expense, and the implementation is feasible.…

With the internet a new form a teaching has evolved with it. The form of teaching is called the “flipped classroom”. The flipped classroom is a form of teaching in which the student goes home and watches the lesson that their student has out online for them and the rest of the class. Than the next day the class will go into the teachers room and discuss what they learned and how to solve the problem, if it is math, how the world turned into what it is if it is history, or literature composition is the class being taught is english. Also back in the 1980’s and 1970’s when the internet was still not a huge factor to many people when a student missed a class they had to catch up on a friend's notes. Now a student is able to connect to a monitor on their end and on the teacher send and watch the classroom from their house. Now in the modern day if a student has a question for a teacher outside of school, such as what homework they missed, how do to an assignment, or if the teacher requires the paper or assignment to be submitted online they are able to; And more and more companies are coming out with ways for students and teachers to interact better outside of school, more and more sites online for writing papers that are accessible anywhere so long as there is an internet…

Internet-based learning also known as e-learning is any-time, anywhere instruction delivered over the Internet to browser-equipped learners [1]. According to Allison Rossett, She said; “Web-based learning is a training that resides on a server or host computer that is connected to the World Wide Web.” Rossett also considers internet-based learning to be a training that is delivered partially or entirely through electronic hardware, software, or maybe both [2]. Another definition of internet-based or web-based learning is the teaching and learning supported by the resources and attributes of the Internet [3]. There are two primary models of Web-based instruction: synchronous (instructor-facilitated) and asynchronous (self-directed, self-paced). Instruction can be delivered by a combination of static methods (learning portals, hyperlinked pages, screen cam tutorials, streaming audio/video, and live Web broadcasts) and interactive methods (threaded discussions, chats, and desk-top video conferencing).…

Cloud computing can help provide those solutions. It’s a network of computing resources—located just about anywhere—that can be shared. Both public and private institutions can use the cloud to deliver better services, even as they work with fewer resources. By sharing IT services in the cloud, the education institution can outsource noncore services and better concentrate on offering students, teachers, faculty, and staff the essential tools to help them succeed.…

Due to the recession last year, cost containment has been a major focus in the education sector. At the same time, there has been a rising demand for cost-effective, robust software applications that will support the education system providing learning and administrative services. This paper speaks about how the deployment of cloud computing enables IT professionals in the education sector to meet these new challenges. Today’s students are more technologically savvy and have a great aptitude to use web based applications. Educators need to efficiently create, store and share learning resources among their peers and students that provide them easy access and are available anywhere, anytime on the web. Apart from teaching, educators also need to manage and monitor the quality of the education delivered in an institution. The system deployed to manage an institution also should have a user friendly interface so that no training is required to use them. Also, the educational institutions are constrained by cost containment and are required to ensure compliance with regulations specially pertaining to security that in turn, can put added strain on their educational infrastructure and staff. The system should have the capability to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the student’s records. Based on the foregoing, Cloud Computing has emerged as the optimal solution to meet the requirements of cost containment, ubiquitous access and real time availability of service with a web based architecture for accessing data securely and providing scalability to meet the growing demand. An education system support based on cloud computing will eventually help in efficiently managing the education system in an institution. This paper explores the possibility of…
