Core product is a basic level of product selling to the consumer at every product and sells the benefits to the guest. Facilitating products are goods which are presented to guests can use for core product.
As we can see that, core products require facilitating products but do not require supporting products. The difference between facilitating and supporting products is not always clear. However, if we provide unprofessional goods or services, it will lead to be bad affects instead of good http://www.hotelierherald.com/from-a-core-product-to-exceeding-your-guests-expectations/
The augmented product includes accessibility, atmosphere, customer interaction with the service organization, customer participation, and customers' interaction with each other. The augmented product is an important concept because hotel requires customer coproduction of the service. http://hotelmule.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=788 Product levels | InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel | Caravelle Saigon Hotel | Movenpick Saigon Hotel | Core product | Hotels sell rooms that customers can rest and sleep destination. | Facilitating products | * bar/pub * Reservation system. * Nightclub. * Restaurant. * Salon. * Coffee shop * Shops * Business center * Conciergewww.intercontinental.com | * Business Centre and Executive Meeting Rooms. * Jacuzzi and Bar/Dining area. * Kara Salon & Spa with individual treatment rooms. * Gaming Club "Las Vegas" style. * International Boutique Shopshttp://www.caravellehotel.com/vi/32/info.aspx | * Casino * Gift shops * Coffee shop * Bar/Lounge * Swimming pool * Business center * Sauna * Restauranthttp://www.hotels.com/ho272293/moevenpick-hotel-saigon-ho-chi-minh-city-vietnam/ | Supporting products | * Babysitting * Wi-fi free * Room service * Laundry service * Airport
