Operation Inherent Resolve: A Case Study
As the All-Source Integration Cell (ASIC) NCOIC, SSG Marshall organized and managed an Intelligence Cell of 30 Soldiers from three companies across four shifts. He led the creation of the BN's All-Source Support to Processing Exploitation and Dissemination Reach operations Standard Operating Procedures, and standardized products which supported over 1,300 kinetic strikes greatly degrading ISIS capabilities in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

As the RFI Manager of the ASIC, SSG Marshall's led to the creation of over 1,000 intelligence products which directly answered PIRs for USARCENT, CJFLCC-OIR, CJTF-OIR, and other partnered organizations across 6 named operations under Operation Inherent Resolve. The RFI's which SSG Marshall's team

    In late June 1863, Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia passed through western Maryland and invaded Pennsylvania. The hill, which dominated the Union position, was previously left unprotected do to a failure in communications. Using the six steps of the operations process, this study will demonstrate COL Joshua Chamberlains’ ability to properly use mission command which ultimately led to the Union’s victory at Little Round Top.…
