Open Campus Lunch Research Paper

Have you ever had something that just makes you really mad and frustrated? Mine is that I see kids along the lockers at lunch not eating. Logan View should have open campus lunch. Every day the Logan view lunch ladies serve us something only half of us like. I’m here for over eight hours every day. With being an athlete, if we don’t get a good lunch or eat enough at lunch, at practice we are very slow and crabby. Our stomachs are cramping because we have no food. After lunch when we go to our afternoon classes we can’t focus on the class because our stomachs are growling and making us think about food. Logan view should have an open campus lunch because we are here for many hours, school lunches are gross, and many kids go without a meal during the day which effects their learning. Some student athletes are at school from 8am to 6:30 pm and go without a lunch. When being an athlete, a meal during the day is very important. A person is required to have so much protein and carbohydrates during the day. Food gives people energy and keeps you from getting
The reason is the meal is not good, and way overpriced. School lunches cost $3.50, if we were to buy food for a lunch at home it would be more effective. The students would be able to eat what they want, and how much they want. For the amount of food we get, the price is way too high. Why do we have to pay for gross lunches because our school won’t allow us to go home and eat? Obama doesn’t need to worry about obese students anymore. Students who are obese most likely know that they are, and their parents know too. I don’t think Obama needs to get involved with it, because most parents are already helping their obese children. Being obese is no one else’s problem but theirs. We don’t need to be punished for them being overweight. Now that most high school students can drive, going home for lunch would be
