I read the book Matched by Ally Condie. If I had to rate this book I would give it a ten because the story is just fantastic. It contains some different styles to balance the book. The book has a love story to it, a sad story, and filled with action. I also like it because it was a dystopian book. I loved The Hunger Games and this book is somewhat like that book. I personally even think it is better than The Hunger Games and that is hard to top. That is why I rate it a ten. In the book, Matched, to have bravery shows others that believe in yourself and can take on any challenge. Cassia, the main character, shows this when her grandfather gives her the poem that she isn’t supposed to have and she read it and then went to her father’s work to burn the poem. Cassia also shows this when she went to take her sorting test and was not afraid, nervous, or anything along those lines. The final incident where she shows bravery, courage, and her ability to take on any challenge is when she was determined to climb the long, steep hill. She believed in herself that she could do anything and that is what it took. Allie Condie’s purpose in writing this book is to show how lucky, we as teenagers, get to have the right to pick who we date, who we marry, how we think, what job we want, what we want to eat, when we want to eat, where we want to live, and most importantly, what we want to do with our lives. This book is great to show us how lucky we are to have freedom. This book also helps us realize that not everyone has the same rights as us, like in other countries people do not get to choose who they marry. That is what I think the purpose of this book was. I think boys and girls would both love this book. The book is also great for every age. This book is perfect for everyone and I think everyone should read it. This book is also great for people who like sports, the outdoors, technology geeks, girls who like romance

Lieutenant Shepard hides away in the forest after stealing an old man’s clothes. First of all when I was younger there was this dog that was very vicious. One day it had started chasing my cousin; it was about to bite him so I pushed my cousin out of the way. I then drew the dog’s attention towards myself and got my cousin away from the dog. I outran the dog almost getting bit a good amount of times. By risking myself getting bitten by the dog to help my younger cousin out I was showing bravery. The book I am reviewing is called Matched by Ally Condie. Matched is a book which has an exiting futuristic theme. Matched is a book about a courageous, open minded girl named Cassia, a girl with two parents, a brother, and two best friends Xander and Em. In the book Cassia battles with society and not any type of society a new society. The society chooses everyone’s life they have chose that everyone should die at 80; they chose that there should only be 100 songs. Poetries, paintings ECT. In their city, the society chooses everyone’s job and food too, society chooses who gets marries to who at a special event called a match banquet. When Cassia finds out she has been matched with someone really close she starts developing strong feeling about him. But as soon as she sees another face pop up on her match’s microcard she starts having second thoughts. See who Cassia gets “matched” within this epic, love triangle, and risk taking story.
