The last possible theme that I think is good for this book is to never have fear and if you do have fear, you won’t survive. One event that supports this theme is when Uri tells the other orphan boys that if you have fear you won’t survive on the streets. This is true because if the boys had fear to steal the food from stores and people they would mess-up a lot or not even do it. If that happened, they would either get caught and killed, or just end up…

The theme of Growing Up is to enjoy your childhood and don't grow up too fast. I think this is the theme because on page 8 it said " She hugged her doll.Something was happening to her, and it might be that she was growing up.When The news ended , and a song started playing, she got up and washed her face without looking in the mirror." This shows that the theme is to enjoy your childhood because that worry that Maria felt is only felt by adults. As kids you don't realize how easy you have it and how hard life really…

After looking at the picture of the little boy getting bullied and not trying to fight back or do anything about it made me think that the theme is bullying. What I am trying to say is that we should never bully because think about the way others are feeling and do not always think about what makes you popular of cool. Showing the kids bullying the kid on the picture shows that you should never bully, he might not look like he is hurt on the outside, but on the inside he is probably really hurt for having people saying bad things…

So, even when Matt was really weak and so was Miranda but more Matt she and him pulled the other people of the family even though he was still sick. So, the theme is sticking together for survival as a family.…

Haley was so nervous, it was her first day in Kinder. She was this pretty little girl with fluffy brown hair and amazing big brown eyes; yet, she had always been an insecure girl. She constantly thought to herself, “what will other children think of me? What if I do not make friends? What if no one likes me?” as she looked for her classroom this was all she could think of. Then she saw the sign on a door that said “Kinder” with a blue butterfly. As she entered, every head in the room turned towards her. She felt excited and scared, all at once. As she entered, Mrs. Campbell introduced her, with a forced a smile she looked around the room and at the other kids. Suddenly, her eye was caught by a little boy, he was looking at the ground and whispered…
