Old Spaghetti Factory Thesis
With big families and a small budget, there is little variety of high-quality food you can buy. The Old Spaghetti Factory is a delicious, family-friendly restaurant that uses fresh food to create an economical three-course meal for people of all ages to enjoy. When you first arrive, you will be surrounded by Victorian-Era furniture that gives the restaurant an old-timey look, but with a modern spin. With a big wait time, you must rush to sit down at these plush couches and chairs. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Dining areas are kept in pristine condition and tables are constantly being cleaned by staff.

Guss and Sally knew that hard work, honesty, exceptional staff, and excellent food were the recipe for dining success. After Gus's’ death in 2004, Sally decided to and continues to inspect each individual piece of decor that goes into each restaurant. With about two million dollars going into decor each year, it seems as if you are walking into a new world, but with a reimagined taste of Italian food.

Staff is always polite, patient, and extremely kind. They are knowledgeable about the food and pride in making sure that the customer’s order is always correct. Staff are required to wear a simple, but elegant uniform with the company’s logo. The downside of the Old Spaghetti Factory is that the rooms are often quite noisy and reduced the conversations to those sitting next to each other.

You can choose from my personal favorite, Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter to an Italian-twist to Garlic Shrimp Capellini. Prices are extremely affordable. Every single meal comes with soup or salad, a main dish, and ice cream. Meal prices range from $9.50 to $15.95.

People come from all over Oregon to taste the Old
Spaghetti Factory’s creamy Spumoni ice cream.

Overall, I would give the Old Spaghetti Factory a 9.5 out of 10. The culture and food of this Oregon-based restaurant will continue to be enjoyed for centuries to come thanks to the dedicated owner, staff, and the

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House located at 144 Bourbon Street for my grandfather’s 73rd birthday luncheon celebration. My mother selected this restaurant for its great seafood and authentic New Orleans dishes. She had booked a reservation for a party of seven, and this was my first time at the establishment. I thought it was going to be another French quarter hole in the wall restaurant with concrete floors and shoddy decor; however, I was pleasantly surprised.…

I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Luca for the first time on February 19, 2017 for lunch. The lighting was a little too dark for lunch time, but had a nice quiet setting. When you walk in, you can see…

We were invited to an Italian restaurant, by some friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The Sweet Basil is located in the more upscale part of town. So my expectations were high. Of course we had three criteria’s to meet, although most likely normal for most people. First food choices – quality and quantity (I have a big appetite). Second would be service – how fast we get a table, how well the waitress tends to our needs. Third would be the total cost per couple could not exceed $40 per couple. Very few expectations were met, let alone exceeded. Considering The Sweet Basil is trying to bill itself as a high end restaurant.…

Second, the friendly service at Olive Garden makes me feel welcomed. As I drive up, there is a Valet eagerly waiting to assist, so I don’t have to struggle with finding a parking spot or walking a far distance. The host or hostess, always make me feel special asking where I prefer to sit, which is good for my preference. The waitress always makes sure I have everything I need and without asking, I always receive a little extra VIP treatment. Servers are very generous when delivering my order and taking care of all guests. A great thing at Olive Garden is that the manager will walk around the tables and converse, which makes me sense that the managers do care about how I feel there and make sure I’m being treated magnificently.…

Each Olive Garden restaurant, there is a hostess and staff that dressed formal and gives off a professional appearance in the hall of the restaurant. Their staffs are highly educated so that they provide the great service. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and cheerful with dressing in white collared, button up shirts, and with black slacks. The staff is definitely a great reason so that Olive Garden is so successful. On the other hand, the staff seems to service many tables at the same time. One example is that the waitress served two tables at the same time so that my family was difficult to order when we were ready. We were waiting too long for ordering, but our dishes were done quickly so that their chefs are…

Complaining that he couldn’t read because of the dim lighting (though I would’ve complained about the small seating area that was barely substantial enough to fit all of our meals with our large drinks), food being too expensive, and the bread did not tasting that good, our highly customer praised avocado egg roll appetizer was mediocre and only tasted good when dipped in the “green sauce” as he puts it. I ate the most of the appetizer, and I couldn’t necessarily agree with him about sauce as it made sweeter. He also split a dish between him and my older sister which although had flavor was not that good, I couldn’t give an opinion myself only because I was busy munching away at my dish. The Crispy Chicken Costoletta did not meet the expectations between the two of…

We headed into San Francisco early. I was surprised that there wasn’t very much traffic; I guess we were after the morning rush hour. The drive north was almost as pretty as the drive down the coast. California should be “The Natural State”, not Arkansas! Once we made it into the city, we had to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. As we emerged from Golden Gate Park, the goliath appeared before us. We just crossed it both ways, but I was in awe of how big the bridge actually was. I had never appreciated it until I saw it with my own eyes. When we came back into the city, we drove around to many of the different neighborhoods. San Francisco is incredibly diverse. We drove through “Little Japan” and “China Town”, and we parked in North Beach. North Beach is where an established population of people with Italian heritage lives and work, “Little Italy” in any other big city. We were craving some good Italian food, and we definitely found some. The restaurant didn’t have a name on their sign, but we risked it and stopped there to eat. It was authentic Italian food from scratch. They made their own noodles, sauces, bread, and dressings. The dish I had was the best Italian food I’d ever eaten. My dad felt the same way about his dish as well. After our delicious lunch, we decided to drive around the city a little while longer, and then head back to the hotel so we didn’t get stuck in rush hour…
