Of Mice And Men Movie Review Essay

The film of Mice and Men starring Gary Sinise as George and John Malkovich as Lennie starts out in an action packed chase scene/flashback. This drags you into the plot of the movie and makes you want to keep watching. Also throughout the movie you are constantly left on cliff hangers. Gary Sinise does a great job of making you want to keep watching to find out what happens.
There are many different scenes and images in Of Mice and Men. One of the first scenes get to see is George and Lennie running through a field men chasing after them. Later when George and Lennie get to the ranch they we get to see the bunkhouse and the different aspects of the ranch such as the threshing machine and huge piles of hay. We see the different aspects of life on the ranch and the different people on the ranch as well. Later we get to see different places we haven't seen before such as Crooks room and the barn. We get to also see many more action scenes due to the incident at the end of the book.
When the movie starts we hear deep ominous music to go with the action packed chase. Throughout the book we hear different kinds of noises and sound to go with the different scenes. He uses a good voice and acts just like the author of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck portrayed Lennie in the book.
