Of Charles Darwin's Theory Of Natural Selection In H. G Wells The Time Machine

The Theory of Natural Selection introduced by Charles Darwin where he had taken a trip to the Galapagos in 1835 to discover that many of the animals of the species of finches had adapted to the environment. In the book The Time Machine by H.G. Wells, a character named the Time Traveller conjectured about the evolution of the Morlocks and Eloi’s. H.G. Wells was inspired by Charles Darwin because of Natural Selection for this novel. Charles Darwin’s theories were that humans will continually evolve, natural selection will allow organisms survive, prosper, and maintain those favorable traits. Charles Darwin’s theories were very comparable to the Time Traveller’s theories because of how the Eloi’s and Morlocks evolved. In addition the Time Traveller
This showed how the ancestors of the Eloi were rich and they evolved into little people who live underground and the Morlocks who were descended from the working poor who were making the Eloi’s ancestors lives luxurious. This is very indistinguishable to Charles Darwin’s theory where he stated humans will continually evolve and as they continually evolve they will adapt to sometimes different surroundings. From the perspective of the Time Traveller, he has taken a time machine to the underworld and has witnessed the evolution of both the Morlocks and the Eloi’s. These species will later soon evolve and become another kind of species. Charles Darwin and the Time Traveller both have theories of evolution and natural selection. In Charles Darwin’s theory, organisms will evolve throughout time and in the Time Traveller’s theories it’s more specific because it is about two different groups. It shows how evolution can change throughout time and in vision of the Time Traveller has him stunned.
