Obama And Healthcare
American healthcare system has been going on with a number of issues for a lot of years. The U.S. faces a lot of health care problems that cannot be fixed properly due to the high rates and the lack of medical insurance.
The citizens within the U.S. have also been having many difficulties because when they enter the hospitals with their different illnesses to realize that they cannot receive any treatment; it is also bad to the point that some of citizens are also living without health insurance for years. In addition to that many persons who are working aren’t able to afford the medical care also.
President Obama presented his Health Care Reform in the year of 2009 because he was concerned with the citizens with his country and their health system. He stated that this would really improve the healthcare system in the country and that his Reform program was to uplift the deficit plus to give better help to the U.S. citizens.
In March 2010, Obama signed an act that was called the Affordable Care Act that was connected to the Health Care Reform. According to the website www.healthcare.gov , the law puts in place comprehensive health insurance reforms that will roll out over four years and beyond. The Affordable Act also called Obamacare was continued and is still continuing with many issues following, it has caused many different uproar within the government and citizens because of the many different plans that are involved with it.
