Nursing according to Merriam-Webster nursing is “the job of taking care of people who are sick, injured, or old.” But nursing to me means way more, to me it is the foundation of the medical field. Spirituality can also hold a very important role in nursing. The care of a persons soul is one of the most powerful parts of caring for a person in nursing. I think nursing includes taking care of patients and helping the doctors out. They had this rotation but they always made me feel like family, even on their day off they would make a frequent visit to me when it was really not needed. I was never scared of them all I was given was

Nursing is closely related with caring because you cannot be a successful nurse if you do not demonstrate any emotion/compassion to your patient. We as professionals should understand that nursing involves caring for everyone regardless of what they believe in, what mistakes they have committed, or what they look like. Being a nurse is such an honorable profession because we are the person who helps patients get through tough situations.
