Nurse Practitioner Aspirations
My name is Crystal Lynne Canama. I have many ambitions and goals in life. Through my work experience as a certified registered nurse, I discovered my aspiration to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
I feel that the time has come to take a step towards reaching my goals in the field of Family Nurse Practice.
I believe that when I become enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program of UIC I will have the best learning experiences to equip me for my future as a family nurse practitioner. My short term goal is to finish the said program and become a certified family nurse practitioner.

    I love the nursing field; there are a variety of nursing specialties. Job opportunities for nurses are endless. A nurse practitioner is a great career choice to choose they also are called NPs. NPs are one of the largest healthcare careers. Nurse practitioners diagnose and treat patients, order tests, do treatment plans, physical exams, immunization shots, and prescribe medications under the direction of the physician.
