If you want to fit in, by all means do not be the kid that attempts to be friends with everyone in the entire school. All this is going to do is make you look like a person who has a shallow relationship with a whole lot of people, but nobody really trusts you. Some kids might not even like you if you do this, so stay away from this tactic. Making friends is not as difficult as people make it out to be. Just simply be yourself and find people that enjoy talking and laughing about the same things that you do. Eventually ask the person in the group that you are closest with if they want to grab a bite to eat, or maybe catch a movie. Keep asking this person, but don’t be pushy or clingy! Play it cool and if they say yes, maybe ask them if one of their friends wants to join in, eventually you might get invited to some of the activities that they participate in.If you follow these steps, it is really not that difficult to fit in.
