Exercise 3.3 Verifying Domain SRV Records
Exercise 3.4 Adding User Accounts to Administrative Groups

Estimated lab time: 55 minutes

Exercise 3.1
Installing the Active Directory Domain Services Role
Overview

Now that you have finished testing DNS and DHCP you will now configure the Windows Server 2008 machine as a replica Domain Controller. In this exercise you will install the Active Directory Domain Services Role on Server##A.
Completion time
10 minutes

Question 1
What does this window indicate
…show more content…
This will create a fault tolerant environment and a backup server in the event of a failure in Server##.
Completion time
25 minutes

Question 2
What roles are currently installed?

Active Directory Domain Services

Question 3
Why do you think this role has a red 'X' next to it?

I think it has a red X next to it because it is not active or needs more actions to be complete

Question 4
What warning do you see on the Summary window?

“This server is not yet running as a domain controller. Run the Acitve Dirrectory Domain Services Instalation Wizzard (dcpromo.exe)”

Question 5
What are the default locations for the Active Directory Domain Services files?

Database & Log Files: C:\Windows\NTDS
SYSVOL Files: C:\Windows\SYSVOL

Question 6
What is the purpose of the Directory Services Restore Mode password?

It is used when the domain ontroller is started in Directory Services Restore Mode

The experimental setup is shown in Figures 5 and 6. Shows the GA-PID and ACO-PID controllers for a 3-phase 60KW SRM motor which are implemented & simulated by using Matlab-Simulink software program. Motor parameters used for simulation are given in Table 1. Tables 2 and 3 shows the GA-PID and ACO-PID controller’s parameters. the response of Kp, Ki and Kd parameters are summarized on table 4 which shows that the proportional controller “Kp” will have the effect of reducing rise time and will reduce the steady state error while the integral controller “Ki” will have the effect of eliminating the steady state error but will have the worst transient response on a system while the derivative…

From an industrial point of view, the uniform distribution (i.e., the gas distributed homogeneously over the entire cross-sectional area of the column) is essential to achieve optimal reactor performance. For instance, high quality and efficiency of the chemical reaction can only be achieved through homogenous gas holdup distribution along liquid phase as in bubble column or slurry phase (liquid-catalyst) in a slurry bubble column due to this homogenous gas holdup distribution lead to better interaction between phase, which is necessary for the chemical reaction. In contrast, the nonhomogeneous gas holdup distribution over the entire cross-sectional area of column causes poor contact between other phases (liquid or slurry phases), which leads to accelerating the reaction in some regions while slow in other regions of the reactor and consequently affect the performance of the reactor.…

On the right in Figure 27 shown the power density spectral of noise measurements at low frequencies, from 1 Hz to 14 Hz and used commercial resistance of 1 kΩ to compare 2 different current generators. The curves in red color correspond KEITHLEY 2400 series and the curves in black color correspond to the ADRET current generator. The KEITHLEY generator slightly lower noise than ADRET generator. However, theoretically the differential measure with correct polarization can suppress this kind of noise origin from the current generator.…

Voice morphing means the transition of one speech signal into another. Like image morphing, speech morphing aims to preserve the shared characteristics of the starting and final signals, while generating a smooth transition between them. Speech morphing is analogous to image morphing. In image morphing the in-between images all show one face smoothly changing its shape and texture until it turns into the target face. It is this feature that a speech morph should possess. One speech signal should smoothly change into another, keeping the shared characteristics of the starting and ending signals but smoothly changing the other properties.…
