We have recently installed Windows 7 Professional onto a new primary HDD. We have installed the Windows 7 RC as a secondary HDD on the same computer. Whenever, we get any problem from the cmd exe error, then we ask this question to ourselves. Just like, when we try to run the cmd.exe in our Windows XP, then we get an error, saying Windows cannot find the C: Windows System32 cmd exe file. Then it orders us to check the name correctly and try again. This happens when we try to run it by clicking on it in the start bar, or if we find it in the System32 folder. And if we run it as an administrator, then also it gives the same error.
We have recently reinstalled Windows due to Virus problems. But the virus has got back to our system. And now we are not able to run any .bat files or cmd.exe file. We have cleared our PC of all infections, using Spyware Doctor, and everything else seems to be running smoothly. We are retrying to run cmd.exe from the System32 folder as an administrator.
