Aside from being a great warrior, he was also a great leader. In 1574, Nobunaga was promoted to junior third rank and made a court advisor. Four years later, he was promoted to the Grand Minister of State. The Grand Minister of State was the highest post that could be given. But, he didn’t stay here long. Nobunaga ended up resigning from his position because of unfinished work in the provinces. He wanted to force the Emperor Ogimachi into retirement. He was unsuccessful in getting the emperor to retire, which means he gave up all of those high up positions for nothing.     Are people born to be violent? That was one of the questions on the video leading to the Warrior Gene. The warrior gene indicates that some individuals are born with the war gene. Henry Rowland was born in Washington D.C. when his parents divorced at an early age. The separation between his parents caused him to develop anxiety. Rowland expresses in the video that he often thinks to himself why he is the way he is always filled with fury. Rowland goes on a mission to look for some answers that might explain if his fury might contribute to the warrior gene. Henry met a diverse group of people so they can be all tested for the warrior gene. Most of the people tested come from violent backgrounds. Are humans shaped by the environment or genes? Everything is created by the environment we grow up and the gene might not always be accurate. Although, the video indicates that the gene portrays in our behavior. As a child Rowland got bullied at school by a group of kids which he feared, turning his fear to anger leading to violence. Rowland interviewed ex gang bangers, bikers, entrepreneur, and mix martial arts men to take the warrior gene test. The video explains, gene that serotonin is associated with feeling good and when released if not broken down after being released, a good mood can quickly turn bad. Dr. Burnner theorized genes plays an important part in shaping human behavior. In addition, the warrior gene is found in x chromosome which men have one copy and women have two that may counteract the effect of the mutation. If MAOG is unable to control serotonin levels it’s at higher risk of having abnormal behaviors at a point in life.     Military warlords frequently crashed in attempting to increase their territory and all their power. Toyotomi Hideyoshi was phenomenal man and leader in Japanese history. Hideyoshi was born in a village called Nakamura in Owari province. His family was born as peasants and little is known of Toyotomi’s early life and career. As a child, his name was known as Hiyoshimaru or also known as “bounty of the sun”. Later in his life, Toyotomi left his family behind and became the page to the retainer of the daimyo of Tomomi. After his short span of becoming a page, he returned home to become part of the foot soldiers. The leader of the soldier, Oda Nobunaga, believed Toyotomi was a cheerful and intelligent man which promoted him into becoming a samurai. Around 1570, Toyotomi was fighting very important battles and by 1573, he overthrew two very wealthy daimyos and quickly became a lord of Nagahama. By late the 1570’s, Toyotomi began to undertake on the abolishment of Western Japan. (History.com Staff, "Henry VIII", 2009) He invaded the Bitchu province and took over the daimyo Mori Terumoto at Takamatsu. In mid the 1580’s, he had become the kampaku, meaning he was the chief minister to the Emperor. Soon in the 1590’s, he became the head of an alliance of daimyo.
