The 2,000 dollar grant has been used to create a native plant garden in the senior courtyard. We decided that native plants would be the best plan as it conserves water, time, and money. This way we could do more with the money that was graciously given. It would be our greatest honor to have you attend the Mount Hebron ribbon cutting ceremony in the early fall of 2017. You would be able to see all the effort and work that the Mount Hebron staff and students have put into this project. We thank you for your time and we really hope that you will be able to…

My name is ************* RN, the reason I am writing you today is asking to establish a community program focused on improving the health of adults that would include exercise and nutrition counseling. You may know that Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing society committed to improving the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses (Sigma Theta Tau, 199-2011), has teamed with the United Nations, which is committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights (United Nations, 2011), and established the U.N. Millennium Development Goals. I would like to address, specifically, reducing child mortality by increasing their physical activity and educating them on healthy food choices. While performing an assessment of the community, I found that it was lacking in resources for children to make healthy choices that would prepare them for a lifetime of positive choices. I have chosen to contact you because your group plays a vital role in the health and safety of children demonstrated by the headstart…

Emma: Well, the idea that there are 2000 incident reports of which some show, what appears to be abuse, human rights abuses, and in particular violence against children, is horrific. Amongst the many responsibilities the Australian government has, making sure that people are treated the right way, are one of those many responsibilities. Immigration and asylum seekers can be a major issue for as long as it needs to be, but the Australian government’s first priority should be making sure that those people are safe - that they are not hurt and that their rights are not violated in any form possible.…

The profession of nursing has a notable history of being highly honored for its strong dedication to public health service. Nurses not only provide services for health promotion and management of chronic conditions, but also strive to provide health education related to prevention and public safety. This legislation is detrimental to support the demand for improving outcomes, guiding all levels of efforts in addressing the nation’s health, and increasing the likelihood of preventing these diseases while decreasing the mortality rates for people who are at risk. A designated Chief Nurse Officer position would reinforce and meet these demands. The National Nurse for Public Health will continue to be able to cooperate in identifying the priorities of the nation’s health, initiate an urge for nurse volunteerism while building a strong relationship between health-related national organizations and government…

I’m contacting you about an issue that is of deep concern to the resident's and myself. The Ahlul-Bayt Islamic School/Community Centre/Scouts in the Vanier area. Their in the need of a proper play ground for the children to play. The play area for the children is all pavement and fencing, they also have no where for the kinder gardeners to play, the structure is old and rusted and its all fenced in. There also ain't no ramp for any child with a weel chair, there is also a shed in the back with a lawn mower which is unsafe for the children to play around. They also don't have a lot of parking for parent's to pick up their children. Making a bigger parking lot for the parents to pick up their children. The street issue is that the road of Baribeau St. need speed bumps because of the traffic around corners and speeding down the streets, while their are children in the area. There are so many issues with the Ahlul-Bayt Islamic School/Community Centre/Scouts that would benefit the public, the children and their families. Their mission is to offer academic excellence in an Islamic atmosphere and a quality learning environment to build and develop an integrated Islamic identity. The school - who consists of students, teachers and parents - will promote spiritual and moral values consistent with respect and good citizenship within the Canadian society. The school has 3 acres of property, which includes a tennis court, and fenced in preschool playground. But there is no playground for the older children but a tennis court, some children would love a playground to climb on instead of playing on pavement with balls. Ahlul-Bayt Islamic School/Community Centre/Scouts has a fully equipped science lab, brand new computer lab, gymnasium, library, and prayer room. They recently had a fire in the computer room. They might need some funding for repairs. Donations are always welcome, We are currently accepting contributions to the upcoming…
